Description: This study looked at factors being associated with MDR-TB in Swaziland.
Genotyping analysis were applied to assess prevalent lineages in the country and to identify dominant strain-families such as Beijing-or LAM-lineages among the circulating MDR-TB strains. Additionally, the level of clustering was studied in order to determine the impact of recent transmission on the dissemination of MDR-TB.
