This study examines the incidence of illness, its determinants and household health seeking behaviour in Kenya –a Sub-Saharan Africa country with high disease morbidity and mortality. For the purpose of this study, a household was defined as a person or a group of persons residing in the same compound, answerable to the same head and pooling and sharing resources for common provisions such as food and house rent. The said determinants were identified as household size, region, residence, age, sex and education of household members. |
